Save Instagram media on iPhone

Only save content you own or have permission to use. These illustrations explain the steps; browser buttons can vary by device and version.

   Choose your file

   Use the Download button below the preview, not the preview’s play button. If your browser still opens the file, look for its Download or Share → Save to Files option, if available.

   Find Downloads

   Open Files → Browse → Downloads. You may find Downloads under iCloud Drive or On My iPhone, depending on your settings.

3. 03

   Keep it in Photos

   To add a supported photo or video to Photos, open the file and check its Share menu for Save Image or Save Video, if available. Audio and ZIP files stay in Files.

If something is missing

Using Instagram’s built-in browser? Copy the Igkin page address into Safari or Chrome and try there. Return to Igkin and refresh the link if it has expired.

Direct files: up to 250 MB. ZIP selection: up to 20 files and 100 MB total. Keep this page open while the transfer finishes.
